How do you ship, and how long does it take to ship to me?
All peptides will be shipped in lyophilized powder, at room temperature. Delivery is overnight within the USA and Canada, and typically takes 3-4 days to reach researchers in other countries.

What analytical data do you provide for peptides?
Each peptide comes with a CoA, MS spectra, and HPLC chromatograms. Please take a look at our peptide sample QA report. We can provide additional analysis if required, e.g. peptide content analysis, TFA content analysis, and KF test (water content test).

What is the maximum length of a peptide you can synthesize?
Biomatik can synthesize peptides up to 130 aa. Unlike many peptide suppliers who are only comfortable in making peptides under 30 or 40 aa, Biomatik has extensive experience in making peptides ranging from 40 to 90 aa. However, the success rate decreases when it comes to longer peptides, especially 100 aa or longer. If you plan to synthesize a sequence of 130 aa or longer, please contact us for our custom protein expression and purification service.

What if you can’t synthesize or purify my peptide?
Each peptide has its own specific characteristics. If any problems occur during the synthesis, and we cannot deliver your peptide on time, we will inform you as soon as possible. If we are not able to make the peptide, you will not be charged as per our ‘no peptide, no charge’ policy.

How do I choose the right peptide purity level?
The required peptide purity level depends on your specific application. For general screening assays or antibody production, lower purities such as crude or >70 % may be sufficient. Effective peptide design depends on factors like length, solubility, and sequence composition. Synthetic peptides should be stored at -20 °C or below in a dry, sealed container. Before use, allow the vial to reach room temperature to prevent moisture condensation. Peptides may be dissolved in sterile water, buffer, or organic solvent depending on their sequence. Aliquoting and avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles is strongly recommended.
